Fridoids.co.uk is a website developed by Froya that allows T.G.I. Fridays' staff (fridoids) to express themselves online, just as they do in their restaurants throughout the U.K. Forming the entire careers section for T.G.I. Fridays site, it is an innovative approach that brings fridoids together online and also enthuses potential candidates at the same time.
The website revolves around the idea of 'blog' entries, so Fridays staff themselves provide the content through an online form together with photos and videos. An online admin utility enables the viewing of posts and placing them in different places on the website, with the homepage coveting the top spot for the best posts. Froya also provided the facility for restaurant managers to maintain their own vacancies online, streamlining the previous process for placing job adverts on the website.
Having launched in September 2008, fridoids.co.uk has already seen a substantial increase in visitors and page views.
